I’ve known Tara for over 5 years now, and when we first met we discovered that we were both Yoopers (from the Upper Peninsula if that term term sounds more like a candy bar than an actual place to you). Finding a fellow Yooper is always an exciting thing, and we have enjoyed talking about hunting and the love of outdoors, cooler air, and muchhhhh longer winters throughout our friendship. Tara met Charlie after re-locating to the east side of Michigan and they fell in love and decided they wanted to commit to forever. Charlie is from the east side of Michigan, and their wedding took place at his parent’s home in Fenton on a partially cloudy and windy day on a dock surrounding by their closest family and friends. They kissed so many times after they were pronounced husband and wife they had everyone laughing, they had BBQ (UM YES PLEASE), craft beers/wine, and homemade desserts (yes, all the goodies in these photos were made by Tara’s mom, aunt and grandma and they were so good I couldn’t stay away) and a fire pit for their guests to hang around by and mingle. The whole day was magical and I could re-live it over and over. I hope you enjoy!
